Statistics for the tracked dataset only. Campus, facility and phase counts are separate. City/locality and metro are distinct fields; unknown geography is grouped explicitly. Names are qualified by country and, for cities, administrative region.

Capacity uses only reviewed, reconciled incremental IT load claims. One eligible component per record and development status is selected; competing eligible claims are excluded. Ancestor capacity suppresses overlapping descendant capacity before filtering or grouping. Filtered subtotals may therefore omit child capacity already assigned to a parent elsewhere. Unresolved phase/building allocations remain excluded.

Missing capacity is unknown, never zero. A true reported zero remains 0 MW. ≥ indicates a lower bound; partial known subtotals do not establish the complete capacity of a region. Estimates and unspecified power are excluded. 337 claims excluded across the full dataset for the selected measurement or overlap rules. Records without selected capacity also include records suppressed to prevent overlap.

Operator filters use the published operating organization; ownership percentages are not allocated. Status filters select records with that status and capacity components of that status. All claims retain their historical as-of dates on the linked profiles; these are not necessarily current installed capacities. Research freshness uses the last research date, not a claim's publication date. Verification is reported separately.
